Model

Human

A puzzle-platformer about programming your robot buddy.

About

Model Human is a puzzle-platformer inspired by games like Teslagrad, Hue or Braid. It borrows some basic concepts of programming, and adapts that kind of problem solving to the platform game paradigm. It's one of the winners of the 2019 AEVI prize to help and promote innovative ideas. It is still in an early stage of development, as much experimentation with the core mechanics has been needed, but the prototyping phase is over and I'm already working on turning it into a full-sized indie game.

Features

  • Original main mechanic! You can teach a sequence of actions to your robot and it will repeat them at your command.
  • Every puzzle is different! There's always a little twist that'll keep you thinking.
  • Subtle and intimate narrative. Unveil the backstory of the protagonists and help them overcome every obstacle while they find their place in the world.
  • Clean pixel art style. Crisp 320x180 resolution with pixel perfect rotation, particles and effects (some of the elements are actually 3D).
